A very rare and highly collectable cheque, signed by Orville Wright in 1918. The cheque was made payable to Mabel Beck, who was the Wright Brothers secretary for many years.

All writing including the fine signature is very clear. There are two light folds in the centre, and stamped holes from the original bank transaction.

Interestingly this signature is only fifteen years after Orville made his first flight on December 17th 1903,
to become the first man ever to experience powered flight.
