We have a Nord 1002 (Messerschmitt Bf 108) aircraft believed to be nearly complete with the exception of the Port wing (wings can be found). This is the much sought-after 4 seat, tail-wheel model. The aircraft is completely disassembled and has been rubbed down.

In June 1934 the prototype Messerschmitt Bf108 four-seat cabin monoplane made its first flight. Further development led to the production Bf108B, powered by a 240horsepower Argus engine. A high performance aircraft, it was used for a series of pre-war record-breaking flights and throughout the war was a very popular communications aircraft used by the Luftwaffe. In 1942, production was moved to France. After the war the aircraft was rechristened the Nord 1000 Pingouin for the French forces and a Renault engine was substituted for the Argus.

LV-RIE (this aircraft) was built in France in June 1947, and it served with the French military before being moved to Argentina in 1956. The aircraft was bought to Great Britain in 1989.
